Harold Dean Kurtzer

Harold Dean Kurtzer, 85 of Lincoln passed away December 1, 2018. Harold was born on August 2, 1933 to Irvin and Lyda (Schafer) Kurtzer in Lincoln. He was the owner and operator of Kurtzer and Sons Refuse Service from 1970 until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed restoring antique cars in his spare time and was a member of several clubs including, the Ford V-8 Club, Nifty Fifties Ford Club, and the Lincoln Area Street Rods. He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Harold is survived by his son, Fred (Chris) Kurtzer; his daughter, Deanne Lacy of Greenwood, NE; grandchildren, Amy, Matt, and Lindsey Kurtzer; Jeremy, Jamie and Nichole Kurtzer and Molly, Mike and Kyle McNally; 26 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Fritzie Kurtzer; son, Doug Kurtzer; grandson, Shane Kurtzer; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Services: Friday December 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 4 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
