AGRA —‑Services for Harold Lee Tate, 75, Agra, formerly of Allen, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Buddy Drake officiating. Burial follows at Allen Cemetery in Allen. Friends and family may call at Criswell Chapel in Allen all day Monday.Mr. Tate died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at a Tulsa hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1932, at Allen to Clayton and Eula Gentry Tate.He attended school in Stockton, Calif. He worked as a construction manager, and later as manager at Perkins Food Center in Perkins, Okla. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Jones and husband Alan, Rush Springs; and Kristi Tate and James Cook, Agra; two sons, Kelly Tate and wife Kandie, Claremore, Okla.; and Kevin Tate and wife Tama, Terrell, Texas; one sister, Juanita Shelton, Tarrytown, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, Lindsey Jones, Haley Jones, Cortni Eckhoff, Chelsea Tate, Derrick Hardridge, Ashlee Tate, Cameron Tate, Rachae Williams and Tera Williams; and one great-grandchild, Caley Eckhoff. I worked for Harold at Perkins Food Center for 6 years. He was always fair to his employees and treated the customers with kindness and compassion. My sympathy to the family and friends. It has been a pleasure to know and work with him.
