MISHOE Mr. Harry Benjamin Mishoe, 81, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at his residence after an illness. Mr. Mishoe was born in Conway, S.C., a son of Emma Kirby Mishoe and the late William Mayberry Mishoe. He was a retired business and tax consultant and member of Jacksonville First Baptist Church. He was a Mason, member of Lake City Lodge #193, and a Shriner, member of the Omar Temple. He was a former Enrolled Agent, U. S. Treasury Department, and member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include: his mother, Emma Kirby Mishoe of Lake City; two daughters, Diane (Mark) Adams of Jacksonville and Harriett M. Whitlock of Florence; one son, David (Sonya) Mishoe of Columbia; four sisters, Sarah (Lawrence) Porter and Joan (Freddie) Evans, both of Lake City, Kathryn (Bill) Kyzer of Lexington and Barbara (William) Wall of Scranton; six grandchildren, Paige Adams and Dudley Adams, both of Jacksonville, Edward (Shauna) Whitlock of Gig Harbor, WA., Dane Whitlock of New York, Scott Mishoe and Chad Mishoe, both of Myrtle Beach; and four great- grandchildren, Austin Adams and Andrew Adams, both of Jacksonville, Day Whitlock and Leah Whitlock, both of Gig Harbor, WA. He was predeceased by three brothers, William Mishoe, Jerry Mishoe and Sam Bennie Mishoe. Funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2003, in the Brockington Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lake City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one s choice. I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE DEATH OF MR. MISHOE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO HIM IN YEARS, HE HAS OFTEN BEEN IN MY THOUGHTS. I WORKED FOR HIM FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED.
