Jonesboro – Hattie Mae King, 91, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born March 12, 1918 in Hayti, Missouri to the late Morgan and Minnie Warth. Mrs. King worked as a machine operator with Frolic Footwear from many years. She was a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Bradford and husband J. R. of Imboden and Sherry Roth of Jonesboro; a brother, Ray Warth of Flint, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Roth, Matthew Roth, Larry Fooks, Pam Heath, Cindy Carter, Michelle Brown and Misty Dawn King; ten great-grandchildren, Caleb Fooks, Jordan Fooks, Lane Roth, Sawyer Roth, Brennan Heath, Brandon Heath, Stephen Brown, Lauren Brown, John Logan Carter and Marc Ross Carter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul King; a son Jerry Paul King and a daughter, Shirley Jeanette King. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 10.00 a.m. at the Highland Drive Baptist Church in Jonesboro with Rev. Johnny Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeremy Roth, Matthew Roth, Dwight Moody, Jerry Roth, Rusty Grigsby and Larry Fooks.
