Heather MacEWEN Obituary
February 23, 1977 – March 22, 2015
Heather, a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend passed away suddenly at the age of 38.
Heather is survived by her children, Dameon and Nevaeh; her mother Veronica Amendt; her brother, Russell (Crystal) Amendt; and her paternal grandmother, Gloria Porter. She also leaves to mourn her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, David Porter; her maternal grandparents, George and Mary Drinkell; and her paternal grandfather, Raymond Porter.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the Sherwood Park Alliance Church (on the corner of Cloverbar Road and Wye Road) at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund for her children.

My deepest and sincere condolences and prayers go out to Veronica, Russ, and to the kids. I have known Heather, Russ and Veronica a long time as I used to babysit Heather and Russ. Heather was a very sweet person with a beautiful smile. I will hold all the memories close to me.

I went to high school with Heather and although i left Canada not long after graduation I remember her well. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her family in particular her children during this very difficult time. May she rest in peace

I want to send my condolences to the Amendt family. I got to know Heather by working with her at Young Fitness. She was kind enough to take me under her wing to teach me the ropes. I will always remember her smile and her laugh because they were infectious. Again sending prayers your way.
