Some days are easier and some days are not. I still feel gut punched when I think I hear you in the store or remember something. They say love is said out loud, but in my heart, my silence and tears have me broken. A sister, a friend, a consistent truth knowing just what to say. Time does not heal. I just learn to cope. Your place was not just a moment but a thread in my DNA. I will love you forever, so see you one day in heaven my friend.

I worked with Heather closely for an extended period of time. It was funny to me how she was always interacting (or sometimes yelling) at her kids while we would be on meetings. lol! She had a wealth of knowledge and would always go out of her way to make sure I didnt feel dumb for asking the same question more than once. It was a shock to hear of her untimely passing and everyone here immediately thought of her poor kids losing their mom. I hope the family heals fast. Take care Heather.. it was a pleasure knowing you at least just a little bit.

I will always remember Heather as the Banana Queen
She was about 4 when my son Chris was flooded out and brought Heather and her Mom to stay with him at my house while his was repaired.
If there was one banana in the house she would find it
She got a Big Jake electric truck for her birthday and drove it around my yard hauling leaves out to the compost bin
I have memories of a beautiful teen being at Waterfront with her step mom and grandmother
I am broken hearted that she is gone so young and will not see her girls grow up

We meet on balcony at a college party. She was with her sister Sarah and I was with my homie boy Nell. I believe it was Homecoming time maybe 07 or 08. We been friends and hanging buddies whenever we could have time off from work. We were supposed to hang out last year April when she came to visit her family and friends in Rockford. I understand living in Texas and not coming up to visit be challenging at times, and with my work schedule. Rest well my dear friend.

Heather was a great friend at work and always helped anyone out no matter the situation even if it wasn´t her job. Truly a pillar of what the culture strived to be.

I remember the minute she came into this world. She was the most beautiful and strong little person I'd have in my life. I felt you from the first flutter in my tummy to the last beat of your heart. I will forever miss you. Love your mother Tracy Lightheart and Grandma and Grandpa Hutchinson
