Helen Evans Dallmar 1922-2011 Helen Evans Dallmar, wife of Howard Dallmar, former Stanford University Basketball coach, passed away on February 23, 2011. Helen was born in 1927, in Norristown, PA and spent most of her early years growing up in Trooper, PA. She attended Syracuse University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. She married Howard Dallmar in 1950, and after a short stay at the University of Pennsylvania they moved west to Menlo Park, CA in 1954 to begin what was a lifelong involvement in the Stanford community. Helen spent her time raising her family, volunteering for causes important to her, traveling and enjoying her many close friends. She dedicated herself to supporting the St. Anthony's PADUA Dining Room in Menlo Park and their mission to feed and help those in need. She is survived by her 3 loving children, Elsa Dallmar Arata (Don), Atherton, Suzanne Dallmar Lindsey (Robert), San Carlos and Howard Evans Dallmar, (Kerry), Menlo Park and 7 grand children; Daniel Arata, Nicholas Arata (Jennifer), Andrew Arata, Katherine Lindsey, Megan Lindsey, Christopher Dallmar and Molly Dallmar, and her sister, Maryanne McGovern of Key Largo, FL. Helen wished that any donations be shared with St. Anthony's PADUA in Menlo Park and/or Pathways Hospice of Sunnyvale. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Friday March 4th at the Vi (formerly Hyatt Classic Residences), in Palo Alto beginning at 2:00pm.

Luv ya, Mrs. D!!

I'll miss seeing you at the MP Farmer's Market. In all the years I knew you you always had a smile on your face and a warm greeting.

God Bless You and the family who I know miss your dearly!! But you're now with Big Daddy, D; and that is a good thing!
