Of Bourne, formerly of Dedham, at age 65, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side after a long illness. Beloved husband of Paula M.(Lincoln). Stepfather of Allison & her husband Mark Bouchard, Robert & Timothy Long. Special Papa to Brianna & Brooke Bouchard.
Son of the late Herbert & Mary(Vincent)Costa. Son in-law of Howard & Edith Lincoln. Brother
of the late Robert(Hoss)Costa & his wife Stephanie, Beatrice, Richard, Michael & his wife Cindy Costa.Devoted uncle to many very special nieces & nephews.Special friend to Ben & Rachel Rotunno. He was a long time drug & alcohol counselor at High Point Treatment Center. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Margaret's Church, 141 Main St., Buzzard's Bay, MA. Friday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. Relatives & friends are kindly invited. Burial @ Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham, MA, to be announced at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jennifer Lincoln to Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.

The Costa family was a big part of my childhood, from early days in Oakdale when you lived next door to my grandmother and then again when Hoss and Herbie were older working with my father. Paula and the Costa Clan,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Herbie was a wonderful man. I never saw him angry. He always had a smile on his face and those little squinty eyes I adored. He would take care of me when we would visit Uncle Herbie. Bea was never there and I was the only girl left with 8 boys. Herbie made sure no one would pick on me. He called me his little princess. He is now with Bobby and the others. I know he is at peace. I will sorely miss him. My love to you all. He was the Best!
