77. Of Brookfield. Was born to Eternal Life on Monday, November 14, 2005. He is survived by his beloved wife Janice, of 53 years, 6 children, Michael (Suzanne), Christopher (Diane), Patrick (Mary), Anne(Michael) Kuhn, Megan (Joel) Wallskog and Maria (Brian) Schloemer, 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, John (Mary Jo), 2 sisters Ione Fuersteneau, Shirley (Dick) Houck, 4 footed companion, Boots, also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by infant son, John Charles.

Herb served his country during the Korean Conflict as a Tech Sergeant in the US Air Force. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #296 in Brookfield. Herb was the owner-operator of Drout Construction for 42 years. He volunteered as a master carpenter for Habitat for Humanity for over 13 years. He was also an active charter member of St. John Vianney Parish in Brookfield and actively contributed to the growth of the Parish.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 18 at 4PM at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd. Visitation will be from 2PM until time of service.

Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
