I still think and miss you very much Pastor Gene. You was the only pastor that encouraged me and let me play and sing in your church. I miss our talking, and I miss us going to breakfast. We always talked about going to the men's retreat but we never made it. I miss singing song with you at the restaurant during breakfast. I miss you Pastor Gene, with all my heart, Bess you and your family.

Pastor Gene was a living example of the love of Christ Jesus. I think of the time he gave to those with special needs;and, in particular, my son, Bill Weaver. He never complained, always joyful, always listening, always caring. We are thankful for the Hobson family. We will miss him. Love and prayers to all the family.

Nancy and family, We are so sorry for your loss. When I think of Gene I think about when we moved back from Canyon Country and you were still at the little Templeton church and you opened your arms wide open to my family. The fun times at Christmas each year was always such a part of my girls lives. Happy memories are what I think when I think of Gene. Such a man of God yet so humble and loving. He will be missed but someday you will be with him again in the mansion next door to Velma. love you, John, Shirley Daubert and family
