Horace Ward Obituary
Horace Ray Ward- Known by his friends as HR or Ward, passed away August 17, 2017 with his family by his side. Horace was born in Overton, TX 11-14-1937 to Jeff & Jennie Ward. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1959. He was stationed at Fort Huachuca AZ where he met his wife Betty Lou. They were married 50 plus years before her passing in 2011. He worked in the construction industry for over 40 years most of those years at T-Pac. Horace was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. He is survived by his son Jeffrey L. Ward, daughter Lisa K. Jacka (Kevin Jacka), Grandson's Christopher L. Ward (Rachel), Jeffrey M. Ward, granddaughters Kara J. Jacka-Stevens (Jeff), Amanda R. Jacka-Hawkins (Josh) and great grandchildren, Asher & Adalie Stevens, Laurali & Gavyn Ward. Service will be held Wednesday August 30th, 2017 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary. 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85027. Viewing will be at 10am, Service at 11am. Please visit phoenixmemorialmortuary.com to leave condolences for the family.
