February 10, 1942 - March 16, 2017
With great sadness and joyful memories, we announce the sudden passing of Tom Hansen, beloved husband of Blanche Hansen, on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Tom was the loving father of three children, Vanessa, Chris and Todd; the doting grandfather of Justin and Dylan; the supportive father-in-law of Ryan and brother- in-law to Tomislav; and a gentle brother to Eric (predeceased) and John. The family will receive condolences on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal, QC). Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 28 at 12 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

So devastated to learn of our old friend's passing. We have so many memories of good times, of Tom feeding fried pigs' ears to our 3 month old Anne at the sugar shack, Christmas tree decorating parties at his house, and just plain old hanging out with all the Hansens. I was saddened to read of Tom's passing. He was a fine person. I knew Tom at Montreal West High School and of course at the DKD Montreal office.
