Hunter Christian Holmes

Hunter Christian Holmes unexpectedly passed away Thursday December 14, 2017 in Redmond, Oregon at 16 years old. Hunter was born on May 18, 2001 in Bend, Oregon. He was loved and admired by all that knew him. Hunter had a smile that would that would light an entire room and a unique sense of humor, always coming up with something that would get everyone laughing. He was a gifted athlete often 'wowing' many with his smooth golf swing and 'stupid far' drives. Hunter was the goalie on the Redmond High soccer team, playing with much of his teammates since he was 5 years old. A close knit bunch of the best kids, coaches and families you would ever want to meet. Hunter is survived by his father Travis Holmes, mother Erika Holmes, 18 year old sister Jordan Holmes, 9 year old brother Jacob Holmes, his Nana Carol Chapman, Grandfather David Holmes, Grandma Doloras Holmes, Uncle Jeff Holmes, Uncle Sean Brisbine, Aunt Cyna Brisbine, Cousin Ashley Brisbine, Cousin Michael Brisbine and a very large extended family. He was preceeded in death by his Grandma Evelyn Holmes, Grandpa Orv Chapman and Cousin Gabe Brisbine. Hunter always had manners and was respectful of everyone. His silly grin and sense of humor will greatly be missed. Hunter's service will be held Saturday December 23 at 11 am at Redmond Community Church, 237 NW 9th Redmond Oregon. Reception to following at the Prineville Golf and Country Club 7120 NE Ochoco Highway Prineville Oregon. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to be made to the Hunter Holmes Memorial Fund @ Selco Credit Union account #608824.
