Ian Plotkin Obituary
May 22, 1965 - March 3, 2023
Ian "Jay" Plotkin was born in Omaha to Norman and Frances (Eirenberg) Plotkin on May 22, 1965. Jay grew up in Omaha, and graduated from Central High School (Class of 1984) where he developed lifelong friendships with many of his classmates. He dedicated many years to the family business, House of Poultry, working alongside his parents.
Jay passed peacefully in the comfort of his own home on March 3, 2023, with his fiance and dear friends by his side.
He is survived and missed by his fiancee, JoAnne McCall; her children, Melissa (Kevin) Allen of Underwood, IA and Autumn (Jacob) Craven of Elkhorn, NE; grandchildren: Westin, Blake, Molly, River, and Jett Allen, and Abel, Cash and Tex Craven; as well as many wonderful friends, and cousins.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Tuesday, March 7, 11am, at Fisher Farms Cemetery in Bellevue, NE, with a Luncheon at his home to follow.

Jay was a good man that will be missed by so many, especially those that had the honor to truly know and love him. He loved being a prankster, setting off huge firework displays every year, and Halloween was his favorite. I remember when he acquired all those mannequins from a shuttered department store to scare the kids with... so funny. We love you Jay.
