Ingrid was a real close friend to my Mom, Ieva Paul, as well as my sisters and I. We spent many holidays together throughout the past 50 or so years. She will be missed tremendously.

My dad, Alvin Allison, said Ingrid was like a sister to him as they worked at West Penn Hospital. He felt bad to hear of her passing. He always spoke so highly of Ingrid. May God give comfort to her family.

Ingrid was a friend and colleague of my mother, and I met her while still in high school when she visited our house. Later, she became my own friend and mentor at West Penn Hospital where I worked after college.
Ingrid's presence was almost larger than life, a truly "great" person in every sense of the word. Although I haven't seen her in well over 20 years, I kept up with her through my mother. Ingrid's friendship and mentoring in my early years continues to help guide the way I live my life. The world is a lesser place without her, but she will always be with those of us blessed enough to have known her.

I worked with Ingrid for many many years at West Penn Hospital. She was my "boss" so to speak. I'm sorry I didn't get to associate with her after her retirement from West Penn.
My prayers are with her. She has now joined her parents and in God's loving arms.
