On Thursday, March 03, 2016. Beloved husband of Esther Shinder Marovitch. Devoted father and father-in-law of Perry, David Marovitch, Maureen Marovitch and David Finch. Cherished Zaidie of Anika, and Caiden. Son of the late Leon and the late Esther Marovitch. Dear brother and brother- in-law of Dorothy and the late Arthur Bloch, Naomi Carsley, Sydney and Esther Marovitch, Morty and Debbie Meyers, Mavis and Gerry Reinblatt. Israel will be sadly missed by Dr. Janet Shinder (Larry Klein), and by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Ong and her caring staff, especially John, his devoted caregiver. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. Sunday, March 6 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 7400 Cote Saint-Luc Rd., from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Fondation Institut de Gériatrie de Montreal, 514-340-3546.
