Obituary
Jack Edward Haley, 70
Jack Edward Haley passed away December 27, 2022. He was born March 23, 1952 to Ermon and Lois Browne Haley in Sparks, Nevada. He had an older brother, John E. Haley. His parents later divorced.
Jack spent most of his youth in Blackfoot with his mother and uncle, Lloyd Browne. When he became a bit too rambunctious he went to Challis to live with Grandpa and Grandma Haley. Grandpa got Jack headed in the right direction and he became a proud graduate of Challis High School. Grandpa worked for the Forest Service and instilled in Jack a deep love of all things outdoors. Morgan Creek always held a special place in his heart.
Jack never married but was lovingly "adopted" by the families of two close friends, Zack Kunz and Ray Gates. Our families will miss him very much.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brother, grandparents, his good friend Zack and his loyal four-legged kid, Rosie.
Jack, we're looking forward to you showing us all the "good spots" on the other side just like you did here.

I took care of Jack at the dialysis center, he was such a good guy. I miss talking to him about fishing and the salmon and Challis areas. His leaving was a shock to us and our hearts are broken. Rest whole and free my friend. ❤
