It was my honor to be Jack's pastor for over 5 years. He was always encouraging me--I never heard him express a negative word. My life has been enriched by knowing him. I pray God's richest blessings on Jack's entire family.

Dear Unger Family,
I want you to know how much respect I had for your father. From the days that Gordie and I spent playing at the family home, to the times I visited Calgary, your dad was always kind and attentive to me. What a great legacy he leaves. I regret that I will not be able to attend his memorial, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will remember your father as a kind, gentle person who always made sure he said hello to me on my visits to Calgary. He was faithful in making sure our mom and dad were taken to church when they could no longer make it there on their own. We were very grateful for his kindness to them. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss.
