Jim Ahearn was a very important person in my life in U.S. He helped me and my family transition to this country giving me the opportunity to work as a tennis coach and as well the working visa. He was a very friendly person and treated everyone nicely. And thanks to him I met other very important people who helped greatly in my family life. Thank you Jim for that, may you be in heaven resting in peace!, Guillermo Varela

Chares and Bridget, in my senior years I look back on the friends I have acquired. Jim Ahearn is one of my dearest and longest friends. In all the years I have known him there was never a harsh word between us. We fought in the trenches of college football together and relied on each other. I could always depend on Jim. I will remember him as one of my dearest and most loyal friends. I will miss him sorely. May he rest in peace.

Many of you remember Broadway Joe Namath, but he wasn't the only charismatic quarterback with the nickname "Broadway" back in the day.

At Marlborough High, there was Broadway Agarn, the QB of the football team (Agarn was Jimmy's nickname in high school, a reference to the character on the TV show 'F-Troop').
