One of the finest men I have known. A Wonderful Husband and Father, a True Christian and a loving friend in our family! He will be truly missed on this earth, but was joyfully welcomed in heaven! God Bless his soul.

I´m deeply saddened by the passing of my dear father-in-law. He was a great person. A source of wisdom, kindness, and strength. I will miss his stories, jokes, magic tricks, riddles and laugh. I will always cherish the memories we shared. Though he is no longer with us, his love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace.

Thank you for being the special uncle that you were. You were a second father to the 5 of us. You were the one that taught me how to ride my bike although you did have to put the training wheels back on! And all the time spent patiently throwing the 4 littles into the lake while the older kids went skiing! You are deeply loved and missed.

One of my favorite memories of Alan, besides his zany sense of humor, was the Christmas he saved the day for us! It was the year Baby Alive just came out, and it was the only present Carol wanted. I´d tried everywhere to find one...no luck. Then just a few days before Christmas, Alan was walking past the catalog dept. in Sears, and he heard one of the employees saying they´d just had a Baby Alive returned. Alan spoke up and said `I´ll take it!´ That just shows you what a great guy he was!
