FIELD _ James (Jim) Allen James (Jim) Allen Field, 71, of Calgary, AB and Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Agape Hospice, Calgary, AB. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1 at the Centre Street Church, Main Campus, Dr. Henry Schorr will officiate. Dr. Jim Field was born July 16, 1933 in Long Beach, CA. He graduated from UCLA in 1955 and married Sandra May (Boughey) the same day. Dr. Jim Field held many pastoral posts in western Canada and the U.S. He also served as President, Hillcrest Christian College, Medicine Hat, AB and Academic Dean, Western Evangelical Seminary, Portland, OR. He most recently pastored at Good Life Resort, Mesa, AZ. His ministry and academic life influenced and touched many lives. Jim enjoyed many pastime activities including wire-wrap jewelry, rock hunting, fishing, and long walks in the desert. Dr. Field is predeceased by his wife Sandy; survived by his wife of seven years, Marjorie; his three children, Patty, Alan (Marilyn) and Mary (Colin) Cooper; grandchildren, Dawson and Derek Cooper and Nathan Field; stepchildren, Diana, Dan (Allana) and Doug (Priscilla) Rollings and grandchildren, Trent, Greg, Angela, Shay-lyn and Cayley Rollings.
