Jim and I spent many hours on surveillance together and executed a few search warrants. He was a great officer and a great guy to work with.

Jackie you and Jim will forever be ingrained in my memory as one of the most loving couples I have ever know.
There are not many men in this world who would put up with perm solution and hair dye stinking up the house every few months. Jim always seemed to be happy to see me even if I was bring stinky solutions into the house.
Your dinners and hospitality are something that neither my husband or I will ever forget. You could always feel how much Jim loved having company and get together s at the house. Thank you for being such good friend's, and know that we will truly miss Jim.

I always enjoyed my time talking with Jim while Jody did Jackie's hair. I'm really going to miss his home-made barbeque sauce, and especially the afternoons and evenings sitting outside on the warm summer nights having dinner. Jim was a good man, and made life better for a lot of people. Isn't that what our live's should be about?

We all gained so much from Knowing Jim these past 33 years.
However it has been in just this past year that Jim and his Beloved wife Jackie gave us the most.
There was no mistaking the bravery both of them showed as they fought the greatest battle of their lives.
There was also no mistaking one of the finest examples of unconditional love that we have ever witnessed.
Thank you for this gift

Jackie, Saturday was a beautiful day of celebration of the loss of your wonderful husband, Jim, and great friend to all of us. Thank you for sharing your hospitality throughout the years commemorating the various events with your family. I will always keep the fond memories. Even though the Mariners are not doing well currently, I think Jim still likes them a little bit! I am honored to be your friend. DE Hanson (Renton, WA)

My favorite memories of Grandpa is when he would come to watch me play baseball. He was funny and made me laugh. I will miss your smile and laughs we had at the family dinners up at your house and watching the mariners games with you.
Your grandson,
Aaron

Grandpa loved to come to watch us play baseball

Grandpa Jim started his young adulthood joining the police force. He was a very brave and noble man not to mention a very cool father as well. His bravery and capture of criminals led him to spot of detective. He loved his country with pride. He also loved his friends and family very much. He would tell his children stories of how he caught smugglers and drug dealers. Matter of fact, he loved to tell his grandchildren stories. Plus he loved even more, listening to them. Grandpa Jim always knew how to make people laugh with his funny remarks and teases. Grandpa Jim was a beloved man to all and will never be forgotten to all his close friends and family. I was sad to hear the news about Jim. I will always remember the tour of the great northwest that he took us on. Jim and Jackie spoiled us rotten that summer.
You are all in our thoughts.

When someone you love dies they take a little piece of your heart with you. It changes things. You realize that you won't be able to see them again for awhile, and it's hard. Eventually you'll have to learn how to live without them for awhile and move on with your life....even though you won't forget you just have to remember all the good happy things, and remember that they're happy where they are now, and they want you to he happy too.

Rest in peace Grandpa Jim, I know my family and I are going to miss you a lot. You taught us so much growing up; we used to see you all the time! You meant a lot to us. But you're in a better place now, I hope you like it there. Maybe you could even catch a few bad guys like back in the day when you were a cop! Haha. Well I love you Grandpa, we all do. You made a huge impact on our lives.

The clock is ticking
And time is passing by
I love him very much
And this is my goodbye
He put on his brave face
Told me there was nothing wrong
He thought I never knew
But I knew it all along
He was diagnosed with cancer
It made me really sad
I knew he was unwell
But I didn't think it was this bad
He used to sort it out
When things got really bad
Now I just wanted to say
I love you grandad
RIP Grandpa Jim
Miss ya :'( ............

Grandpa Jim:
I used to love how you would always come over to our house on Christmas. When we last had seen you I didn't know if it was our last to see you. It was a while after that I woke up and my mom told me that you died in the middle of the nigh. I didn't really know what to think of that. I want you to know that you'll always stay in my memories. You'll stay in the whole families memories.
