James Robert Heitkotter

James Robert Heitkotter, 30, of Henderson, Nev., passed from this life on Saturday (Aug. 23, 2008) at his home. He was born in San Jose, Calif. on March 17, 1978, the son of Debra Lou Sapp Teall of Kingmont and Doug Teall and stepmother Sandy Teall of San Diego, Calif., and Kenneth S. Heitkotter and stepmother Pam Heitkotter of Topeka, Kan. James attended The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Henderson. He worked in construction, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, singing and performing music, and he loved animals.In addition to his parents, James is survived by his wife, Jill Sweifach Heitkotter of Henderson; stepdaughter, Deirdre Phoenix of Seattle; brother, Michael Even Teall of San Diego; grandparents, Mary Lou Sapp of Fairmont, Margaret Teall of Los Altos, Calif., Peggy Stickley of Sunnyvale, Calif. and Don Heitkotter of Monterey, Calif.; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Adria Sweifach of Palm Springs, Calif.; aunts and uncles, Robert and Cathy Sapp of Fairmont, Susie and Rockie Filius of Fairview, Linda and Jeffery Toothman of Fairmont and Tim Heitkotter of Hawaii; several cousins, great aunts, great uncles and other relatives. There will be a memorial service held at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Henderson at 1 p.m. Monday. A memorial service also will be held at New Hope Four Square Church, 704 Country Club Road in Fairmont, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
