Linda, I am so sorry to find out about the passing of James. He was a valuable influence on me in college. I still remember (40 years later) both of you fondly and how he was 10 feet off the ground at the sight or mention of you . Please accept my condolences.

Monica and I were so sorry to hear of Jim's death. It was a pleasure to work with such a fine man of character and integrity. He will deeply missed by his company and the lawyers he worked with. I know his beloved family will miss him so much more. Linda, please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Linda,
Donna and I just found out yesterday about Jim's passing last night and I am stunned. I always enjoyed talking with and being around Jim and sharing his passions. He had a deep intellect in which we enjoyed discussing many topics. Our sincere condolences, Jim was a good man, and our prayers are with you and the family.

Dear Linda, Ashley and Justin,
We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We did not know of his battle with cancer and will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. I can still hear Jim singing with his headphones on while riding his lawn mower on Bainview Drive. He was always so pleasant and fun to talk with. We miss seeing you all, but will never forget any of you. I have pictures of Ashley on Halloween when she was so little. Linda, please know that we are thinking of you and your family.

My sincerest condolences. The Heavens got a good one, albeit too soon for us. Woody's enthusiasm for Sig Ep, along with his kind heart, made a lasting impression on me, especially as a freshman at UNCC. He laughed at everything. I'll miss him.

Linda, so sorry to hear of Woody"s passing. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. We were asking about him at the Sig Ep Reunion we had a few weeks ago, but we were not aware of his medical issues. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

I met Jim through work and always looked forward to having a chance to interact with him. He was a wonderful person and a great negotiator, respected by all. He never missed a chance to talk about his lovely wife and his children, and he was always his most proud at the mention of their names. He will be missed and is leaving some big shoes to fill.

Jim was one of the kindest, sweetest, smartest and funniest people I've ever met. He wasn't just my client, he was my friend. I always looked forward to talking to him over the phone about claims, family and life in general. Oh the stories he would tell. He was very dedicated to his family, God and work. What an intelligent individual; he could talk about anything and everything. He always had nice things to say and his happiness and optimism were infectious. He was always thinking about the wellbeing of everyone else and wanted everyone to be okay. He was strong and inspirational to the very end. I will miss him so very much and I was very lucky to know him. His time on this earth was too short. My prayers and thoughts go out to his lovely family who he loved so much. Jim you will be sorely missed. May you rest in peace.

I was fortunate to go to school with James from first grade through college. He had a brilliant mind and was a good guy. James always worked very hard to achieve academically and was a caring, respectful man who never looked down on anyone. The world needs more people like James Woody.

The kindness and beauty of Jim can be seen in his children, and in the love of his wife Linda. I cannot remember him without a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart. Truly one of the best people I have been blessed to know.
