Those who truly knew Janet, knew she was an angel sent from God and it seemed everyone who met Janet loved her. She was quick to share a smile, and offered kind words in passing to friends and strangers alike. She offered words of encouragement to those who needed it, and she was the kind of person who was known to do any and everything possible to help. She had a heart-felt compassion – unmatched – and considered it a gift from God. She was committed to offering her hands and heart to both children and animals of which she always adored.

Janet will be laid to rest next to her husband Jimmy, at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on Saturday, June 30th, and the pallbearers accompanying her to her final resting place will be; Jody Gosset, Christopher Bradley, Jonathan Baker, Oren Thibodeaux, William Lain, and Charles Heath Davis

Although Janet will be missed terribly, she is now home with God and surely possesses a most beautiful set of wings - chosen just for her. In Janet's memory and to honor her, anyone wishing to attend her Celebration of Life is encouraged to wear bright colors – as opposed to black or dark – as Janet was a bright and cheerful character in this world. More importantly, just come as she knew you. If you so desire to honor Janet further, in lieu of flowers please consider donations to: Lexi's Wings, 1301 Highland Drive, Alvin, Texas 77511
