Janis Forman Obituary
Janis worked until the age of 80, having spent more than 40 years in the real estate industry. Her professional journey included nearly a decade in new construction sales in South Florida. She was consistently a top performer and had an amazing ability to negotiate. Janis's hardworking, driven nature was evident in her commitment to her career, children and spiritual life.
She was a mother to nine children, surviving her are sons Chris Forman, Ray Coppler, and Ron Forman; and daughters Deborah Schaffnit, Dawn Lisenby, Hannah Forman, and Michele Drake. She was also a cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Janis was preceded in death by her son Jack Forman and daughter Deborah Forman-Dale.
An avid reader, Janis saw books as her friends and always surrounded herself with animals, her last beloved pets being her dog Meho and bird Lucy. She enjoyed drawing, dancing, music, walking, weight training, and sharing her faith with others.
A remembrance service will be held for Janis on Saturday, August 24th at 5 pm at Lake Hollingsworth's southern landing, across from Florida Southern and Johnson Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janis's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org/site/donation

Long for the day to see her again! One of her strongest attributes is her love for Jehovah and sharing it with her children and anyone else who met her

Janis had an amazing trust in Jehovah. I was encouraged by her ability to pray to Jehovah when major challenges came. We would share stories about how Jehovah would answer our prayers in amazing ways. She had many wonderful qualities but that one was my favorite.
