Even though we only met once, I knew from the start you were genuinely a wonderful person. And when I saw how happy you made my cousin Leanne feel, without hesitation, I loved you and thought of you as family. You will be forever loved and missed Jason.

Jay, your passing leaves behind sorrow beyond words. I last saw you driving on John Laurie; we exchanged waves, head-nods, smiles etc., prior to that I hadn't seen you in at least a couple years?? But in that brief encounter, I could surmise that no matter where we were going, or where we had been since the old days, we were the same good friends that used to chum around together. "I'll see you around" I thought. I miss the old days Jay, wrestling at SPB, late night parties/adventures in Ranchlands, they were good times. I wish we could have caught up, but having reviewed some of what others have submitted; you grew up to be the same passionate, energetic and driven individual we all admired. The world isn't the same without you Jason.

I knew Jay from growing up in Ranchlands and then later on seeing him breakdancing at various events. What an amazing talent. Such a role model and positive person. Reading these entries, it sounds like there was a common theme. Jay had a way of brightening your day with that infectious smile and positive attitude. He really was an example of how we should all live our lives. Jay will be missed by many. My sympathies go out to his family and close friends.

Hey Jay
I hope Kihlal Gibran is right when he says...
"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
I hope you are dancing wherever you are.

Although I've known Jay for over 10 years, but our friendship only became really strong over that past 3-4 years. Every week we would hang or try to. We were " Blackman and Robin" when we went out. I taught him how to play poker his latest obsession. As most people can say, there are certain people that you meet in your lifetime that you almost feel their aura shining upon you when you meet them for the first time and Jay was such a person. Even if you talked to him for only a quick minute you felt better. He was so genuine that if he saw your love or passion for something he was talking to you, giving you love and respect. He was great as they come and we should be glad to have been blessed in knowing him. I love Jay as one of my brothers and I always will lead my life as fearlessly and as whole heartedly as he. Be at peace my friend. We're All in!

Percy, We send our sincere condolences to you on this tragic loss of Jason. Our hearts and home are open to you and we pray for you. It makes me smile to know that he and Hyacinth will be together again. Jason was always energetic and happy, even as a little "Scheisser" in Ranchlands. I remember him playing with the decorations at our wedding at the age of 2 1/2 and riding his bike around the neighborhood and playing in the playground. May your memories of him always bring a smile to your face.

Jason was one of a kind! He knew how to laugh and enjoy life. The kids that he taught always took away more than just lessons on dance, they took away lessons on how to be what they wanted and love what they do. Jason will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. I will always remember Jason as a fun loving and outgoing individual and I truly enjoyed working with him at Airborne!
