We were very sad to learn that Jean-Edouard left this world, after 10 months of fighting with courage and dignity .
He will stay in our memory as a young man full of life, we met in Guadeloupe with his late parents.
All our deepest sympathies to his wife, son and brother.
Our prayers are with both of you.

Our occasional encounters were several years ago, Martha and I never had the pleasure of meeting this special man. But your professionalism, always presented with great warmth made for a lasting impression. From these lovely words telling his story, you two were a well-matched couple. Sincere condolences to you and his other family members. May your support and love of each other hold you tight as you navigate these next days.

Martha, sincere condolences. I read the obituary with interest, having only known your love from a distance. His commanding voice, distinct presence and joyous tone were what I noticed whenever I would serve him at Mckecks or run into him amidst small town errands. He always had an air of intrigue to me, unabashedly handsome with a booming laugh and he spoke to me without any class distinction...a gentleman to the core. I am so very sorry it is your time to say goodbye. May you be wrapped in love as you grieve your loss. With heartfelt regards, Karen Frybort

Dear Martha
I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Jean-Edouard and want to extend my sincere condolences to you and his entire family.
I well remember his engaging presence and smiled at the memories of his larger than life personality and ready smile whenever he entered the bank where I worked many years ago.
Albeit saddened for your loss, I did enjoy reading his profoundly written obituary and suspected you had a hand in the writing of it. Thank you for sharing the information giving us insight into the life of your beloved.
My thoughts are with you as you process your loss and learn to live your new normal. Hugs from Ontario.
Sincerely, Jackie Mayhew.

Deepest, deepest condolances Martha..what a fine gentleman and a human being he was. He has left a beautiful legacy that will live on..I'm a better person for having known him.
I can still see him standing at the back of the ball room at Pinestone Stone Inn watching our fashion shows and telling Laurie and I what a great job we had done, coming from Jean -Edouarde that was such a hige great compliment, we often share that story.

We are sad to hear of Jean-Edouard's passing at such a young age. In the 1980's my radio was fastened to CFMX, and I remember his advertising well. We spend many memorable days and nights at the Domain, where he was the consummate host. Our most memorable stay, and most memorable wedding anniversary, was the New Year's eve celebration in 1994, when Jean-Edouard was host, as usual, and the service and food were six star. We should be so lucky as to meet up with him and his entourage in the next life.
