Still May 23, 2015
Still feel your smile upon my lips,
Still feel your hands upon my hips,
Still hear your laugh upon my ears,
Still feel in my heart, all your fears,
Still in my dreams, I feel you near,
Still in my thoughts, you'll always be here.
Still hear the sound of your Darth Vader snore,
Still sleeping, my prince, forever more.
Still you will be, always at my side,
And still in my heart, you will always abide.
love, michelle
You will meet again

What we have enjoyed once we can never really loose. I trust you will find peace with Jean Maurice as a Spirit Guide for you. Sending loving vibrations of healing to you and Jean Maurice' mom, children and brother. He obviously brought great joy to those around him and that is a life well lived.

Great memories of you, always with a smile. Our time at the St. Regis Hotel were fun and will never be forgotten. Unfortunately we lost touch with each other but I remember our butler days like they were yesterday. Rest in peace.

Johnny, am still under shock. Will never forget you. Years we used to see you and your dear family at Stanley beach. You were always nice , smiling, serving, the presence of your sense of humour. And when we used to meet all of us at the balcony laughing and enjoying our gathering. I know how it is hard on your family. You are unforgettable nice young man. May your soul rest in peace. My sincere condolences to Beba, Mamdouh, Rita and the whole family. The loss is ours too.

It was always a special time when Jean Maurice would pop into my office at SACD to say "Hello". I would always learn something new from him. He was a fascinating person; I feel lucky to have known him.

My gaze is left watching the road you travelled, intensely sincerely, gently and with compassion. We were so looking forward to having you in the office, knowing that we could make your road, our road.
You left early for sure, but you did not depart from your road. You just left a blazing trail of light.

Jean Maurice, you were one of the most professions Gentelman that as a Residence made me want to live here. You exemplified what the Ritz called Gentelman . I will always remember your enthusiasm when during the World Cup series you loved to watch the games.
May the Lord rise up to greet you.
May he hold you in the palm of his hands
Until we meet again.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family you will be deeply missed,RIP.
Your grateful resident.

For Jean Maurice, On Your Way to the Moon
You took my heart, when you slipped away
Too suddenly, the other day
I've hugged your shirt, and cried the why
To keep you close won't say goodbye
You wouldn't say leaving, when out the door
You knew of returning, be back for more
Hugs, laughs, kisses, and smart remarks,
I'll miss your smile, and miss your spark
I'll have you here, with me in ways
That will be remembered, through every day
You've taken your body, left a piece of your soul
Added to mine to keep me whole
Thanks for your fire, of passion and hope
Not only for me, for all in your scope
Your care extended, within many roles
Will be missed and remembered, by many souls
Keep my heart with you, on your way to the moon
I'll keep you inside Til I see you soon.
love, michelle

He was a magnetic presence when I first met him almost 12 years ago. Since we both worked at the Ritz, we became good friends in just passing through the lobby. He was the 1st one to encourage me to go back to school for a degree since he was already in midst of acquiring his in architecture.
He was smart, witty, funny, charming, charismatic, classy, worldly, and talented in many ways. He loved to cook, and care for all around him, and had such deep commitment to his character, and family. He was constantly positive even while balancing so many obligations, and had such ambition professionally and personally.
Since taking our relationship from friendship into romance in January, I grew to appreciate so many more levels of Jean Maurice. We were just beginning and he left too soon.
I miss you every minute, but I know you're at peace with your father, and will be watching over us with your continued care as another angel surrounding us with love.
My heart is with all his family; you're in my thoughts and prayers.
Love you, always,
Michelle Bessette

Death brings pain that time can only heal, No words could ease what we truly feel; But with God, his joy is externally sealed, And cherish his memories that death can't even steal. Lift up a smile for he is already in paradise. I've lost a best friend, but I've gain a Angel who will always be with me. Jean miss you, R.I.P Love Maria

Theologian and philosopher Albert Schweitzer said, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." Jean Maurice embodied these ideals, and his memory gives us all something to strive for. I'll never forget his ready smile and quick wit, and send my deepest condolences to his family.

What a terrible loss the world has suffered to have lost such an amazing human being. Jean Maurice, I remember how you could make me laugh in the valet office, even on those stressfuls days, when we had countless attendees, pouring down rain and maybe a "lost" key or two. Heaven is more beautiful with you in it now. May God bless and keep you.
