Jeanne Marie Anderson

Jeanne Marie Anderson, 78, passed away on December 11, 2024, in Lovelock, Nevada. She was born on May 11, 1946, in Idaho and grew up in Lovelock, where she formed lifelong connections and cherished memories. Jeanne graduated from Pershing High School in 1964 and spent much of her life in Nevada, returning to Lovelock 27 years ago to make it her home once again.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Tillie Rodrigues. She is survived by her loving husband, James Anderson of Lovelock; her children, Curtis (LeighAnn) Hill of Elko, Micheal Anderson of Elko, and Sammi (Todd) Snyder of Central Point, Oregon; her grandchildren: Anthony Anderson, Mackenzie (Andrew) Watkins, Mollie Snyder, Emily (Clint) Pogue-Campbell, Chandler (Kaitlyn) Hill, Spencer (Samantha) Pemelton, Samantha Pemelton, and Patrick Pemelton; and her great-grandchildren: Tanner and Kamryn Watkins; Cash and Axle Ray Anderson; Tucker and Dawson Pemelton; and Coheen Hill.

Jeanne dedicated much of her career to the school district, where she made a meaningful impact on her community. As the matriarch of her family, she found great joy in nurturing her yard and spending time outdoors. Jeanne treasured the moments she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be forever cherished. She also valued the friendships she built over the years and shared many joyful times with those close to her.

A Christian Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lovelock, Nevada. Burial will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the I.D.E.S Society of Lovelock, C/O Darlene Moura, 400 Union Road, Lovelock, NV 89419.

Jeanne's warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
