Jeff Lube Obituary

Jeff Lube entered Heaven on May 8, 2024 .

He is survived by his wife, Char, four daughters, Megan, Kaity (Evan Frank), Noelle, Danielle, his sister, Barbara (Dan Osuna) and nephews, Joe and Matt Osuna.

Jeff was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Growing up he loved going out on his dad's dive boat, playing football, and basketball.

He attended Santa Barbara City College, then later graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems.

This lead to a long, successful career in software sales and provided Jeff the opportunity to live a life full of travel and adventure, while creating life-long friendships along the way.

Jeff was curious and adventurous. He was always open to new experiences. For instance, moving across the globe to work in England, learning to ski, snowmobile and fly fish.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeff enjoyed mountain biking, hiking, golfing, camping, and hunting. He was also a food enthusiast. Known for his love of cooking and trying new recipes, especially when it came to grilling and smoking meats.

He was a loving and supportive husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Jeff was an amazing human. When he took over the Enterprise Architecture team from me, I knew right away it was in great hands. Our one on one conversations were always jovial and open, I am honored for the brief time I got to know him.

One of my favorite moments with Jeff was when his entire leadership team met in Phoenix. After a great day of collaborating we went ATV riding (my first time going). We had so much fun together. While Jeff's health was deteriorating it didn't stop him from having an incredible time. Afterwards we went out for drinks and dinner and really got to know each other outside of our usual work environment. He was such an inspiring man and his legacy will live on at ServiceNow.

Jeff was an incredible leader and mentor but more importantly, an amazing friend. I learned so much from Jeff and he will be greatly missed.

Although distance meant infrequent visits, Uncle Jeff always made me feel special, always greeted me with a genuine smile & enthusiasm. Treated me like his own daughter. He always put me at ease & was very comfortable to be around. I loved him & will really miss him.
