Jeffrey W. O'Donnell, 57, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, June 14, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. O'Donnell, Sr; sister, Moe O'Donnell; niece, Nikki Ahearn; his brother and sister-in-laws; several nieces, nephews, and dear family and friends who all were important to Jeff and brought richness to his life. O'Donnell, Jr. ARRANGEMENTS: His Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Thursday, June 18 from 2:00 to 4:00P.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 4:00P.M. Debbie, I am so sorry to find out about Jeff's passing. I know it has been several years, but it was a shocker when I was looking to find out your current address for a Christmas card. There were some fond memories in the beginning of our trip through Fedex, which ended up not as pleasant as we all had hoped. My prayers and thoughts are with him, He was a good guy!..

Debbie, Aly, Shane and Jake, I only knew Jeff through Debbie's stories, but wonderful and funny stories they were. Sending you all warm hugs. Love, Colleen

I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. Sorry I didn't hear in time to make it to the wake. I knew him through my late love, John Bryant. John shared lots of fun times at the LMS gym especially, refereeing basketball games. Jeff spent a lot of time teaching John's youngest, Dylan, how to ref. I enjoyed keeping in touch with Jeff through Facebook. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers to all of you. I understand how hard it is.

Dear Debbie and family, I am so very sorry about Jeff's passing. The stories you told me about his strength and courage during his battle left me in awe. Just a few weeks ago he was on the golf course continuing to do the things he loved no matter what got in his way. His heartfelt thank you notes for every PanMassChallenge contribution was a true testament to his sensitivity, integrity, and thoughtfulness. I never got to meet him, but I hope you continue to share his stories of hope and determination with us all. Much love, LTB

It only took about 10 minutes and a pint to feel like you had been Jeff's long time friend. Reflecting on my memories of all of us together, they are only filled with good times at different places around the country, smiles and lots of laughter. I wish you and the family love, peace, and lots of smiles of the great memories of a wonderful husband, father, and friend.

It was a pleasure to have known Jeff, we always had good company and good conversations about politics. He always waited for me to make his hotdogs, I knew exactly how he liked them grilled.
Jeff, thanks for being there for me, you always had good advice for me.

Deb, Aly and Jake,
Jeff was an inspiration to all as he repeatedly fought cancer with all his being. He tried so hard to stay with you as long as possible. He truly loved you all and family meant the world to him. May he rest in peace and may eternal light shine upon him. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers, Yvette and Harvey

Safely Home
I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth--
You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
