I was part of Jennifer's Liberal coterie; and it was so much fun. From the Montreal Rally in 1995 to several annual Prime Minister's Dinners and the Queen's luncheon in 2003, Jennifer was such a huge part of my involvement with politics. I am forever grateful for her humour, her kindness and dynamism.
My deepest sympathy to Rick, Drew and Amy and her parents and brother.
Rest in peace, Jen.

As I recall it, Jennifer was the first person I met at Ryerson. I think she registered me or took my ID photo. I can honestly say my years at Ryerson would not have been the same without Jennifer and her zest for life. My condolences to the family.

It’s been many years since my Ryerson days with Jen and even back then I remember her as a ball of fire, full of life and living. She was always rallying the troops and no one felt left out. Truly one of the forces which held the G-Hogs together.
To the Brooks and Morrison families, my deepest condolences on your loss. Jen may have gone from your sight like a ship sailing to far off shores. You watch until she is out of sight on the horizon, sighing, “There she goes.” Gone from you but not completely gone for in a distant land someone is saying, “Her she comes.”

I was very saddened to hear of Jenn's passing. We went to nursery school together, and I believe we were in every class together at Gravenhurst Public School. I also have fond memories of playing trumpet with her in the High-school band...seeing who could out do each other. Her energy and zest for life were second to none. My thoughts and prayers go to her family at this most difficult time.

Jen's zest for life was contagious, what a fun, energetic and truly kind person who helped me out when I needed a place to stay. So I rented a room from Jen for a brief stint while attending Ryerson. We were in the same program; unfortunately I was a busy student and not always around working 3 jobs while attending school. Well ... this didn't stop Jen from taking the time to get know me and lend a helping hand. What a sweet person, I will always remember her kindness and her enthusiastic approach to the Applied Geography program. We shared a few laughs and I also enjoyed racing her home for the 1 parking spot at the rental house.... she beat me most of the time! I lost touch with Jen over the years (unfortunately) but I have many fond memories of those Ryerson days. I am very sad to hear this news about Jen and my thoughts are with you.... Sincerely Donna

When we were in public school, she let me borrow her big bike -- the one with the banana seat and the high handlebars because she said I looked regal when I rode it. We watched Gilligan's Island in the loft of her house at the end of Winewood Street after school, 'cause her mom would let us, and mine wouldn't....and we giggled a lot. Thanks for sharing your Light, Jenny.

Jenny was my first roommate. She represents a very important time in my life when I left the "nest" and began to fly. She taught me to respect others by not leaving hair on the soap. She taught me that a plate of spaghetti needed to be completely full to over-flowing or it just wasn't a plate of spaghetti. She was a ball of energy who commanded only the best from absolutely everyone... because that's what she gave them. What I loved most about her was that she never sat still for a even moment. She was inspiring and I hope to live my life as she lived hers.
I will be forever grateful that Jenny touched my life.

That Jenny M. the "can do" girl,
A happy breeze, a saucy whirl:
'Twas not for her to whine and cry,
Could not be bothered to be shy.
That Jenny M., the Costco whiz,
A force of nature, pop with fizz.
To kith and kin a sturdy rock,
Now kith and kin in quiet shock.

Oh, Jenny M., our "can do" girl,
You shining star, you lucent pearl,
You went to soon, so now it's said:
It's just like you to forge ahead.

My deepest condolences go out to Jen’s family. At Ryerson Jen was always a happy, positive influence, and could be found by listening for her laugh. Jen will be sadly missed, but the memories will remain.

Jenny touched my life in so many ways and I have so many memories of our times together. She loved to organize and prepare gatherings with friends and family to celebrate special occasions. I will always remember my first Canada Day celebration at the Morrison's in Richmond. It was a blast! As well as each and every celebration after that the same - A blast! So many competitive games with prizes and awards,so organized and so much fun with lots of great food and much camaraderie. Jenny surely epitomized "fun". You will be missed tremendously Jenny.
My love, thoughts and prayers go out to Rick, Drew, Amy and all of the families during this very difficult time.

Jenny will be in my heart forever. She was joy itself and brought so much joy to everyone around her and everything she did. Generous, thoughtful and so caring, Jenny drew people to her and made them feel special. A beautiful light in this world, Jenny you are missed.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Jenny. Growing up with her in Gravenhurst was the best of times. From our first day of kindergarden to her TV show "Life in the Fast Lane". She was so full of life. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Jen was the best neighbour and friend ever. We have so many great memories just because she included us in her wonderful, full life. We miss her and think of her often especially whenever we see pink! Jenny, you taught me how I should and want to live and am proud to have known you.

Jennifer set the standard for living life in the moment, and having no regrets. She taught me to act now, think later, and brought much joy and laughter into my life in the process. My Ryerson University days would not have been the same without her. Greg, Thomas, Lauren and I send our love and condolences to Rick, Drew, Amy and the Brooks family.

When a loved one becomes a memory the memory becomes a treasure.
I will always remember figure skating, or grade 8 Ottawa trip. and her endless infectious giggle that brings me back to my little girl days.
God's speed my friend.
