I was saddened to learn of Jerry´s passing. I was fortunate to have worked closely with him for many years in the steel business. Jerry was very smart, knowledgeable, dynamic, honorable, magnanimous, funny, and successful. He enjoyed the profession and had a sharp eye on "the big picture."
He often spoke lovingly of family, friends, and golf. He was interested in national affairs, and was proud of his military service. Jerry was a joy to be around. I´ll always remember him with genuine fondness and esteem.
My condolences to his loved ones.

David and Robin,
I just learned of your dads passing, you and your families, along with Bev, have my genuine condolence's. My fondest memory was winning the Calcutta at Ravisloe 40 years ago with your dad and John Rakoff. We had the worst odds of all teams and won the whole thing!!!

My name is Tony Swart and I work for Webco Industries, Sand Springs OK. Jerry and NMC supported Webco through some of our most difficult times and we were all blessed by our relationship with him. As tough as he was on the surface, there was always a kind and gentle man lurking below that exterior. Through the many years we worked together, I always looked forward to every conversation and meeting with Jerry. Even the tough ones ended with his commitment to be there for us through everything. When my daughter passed away at a young age, his kind words and support still travel with me. He and our founder, Bill Weber were kindred spirits and they truly valued each other. I will miss Jerry and so will Webco.

Best Poppy ever! He was such a loving man who truly cherished his family. I wish we all had more time to spend with him, but thankful knowing that he lived a full and wonderful life.
