1950-2025

Jerry Dunn Sr. of Waterford; born in the copper hills of Tennessee on January 2nd 1950, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 .

Jerry is survived by his wife Kathleen of twenty seven years, as well as his siblings Freida Trent, Dan (Barb), Sandra (Ken) Pugh.

Jerry is also survived by his 3 son's Jerry Jr. (Kelly), Jeff (Tonya) and Jay (Maggie).

His Grandchildren Jordyn (Dylan) Schaub, Paige (Steve) Igrison, Taylor Dunn, Lauren (Zach) Gross, Alex (Aasha), Faith Dunn, Nathanyel (Emily), Grace (Elijah) Byers, Christian, Grant, Dominique, Layla and Myles. As well as Eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerry is also Survived by his Uncle Gene who he was very fond of. His long time friend Gene Santos for over 70 years. Jerry will be greatly missed.

Jerry worked as a mechanic throughout the years. He worked at GM for a season and eventually became the proud owner of Jerry's Lawn Maintenance.

Jerry loved to work on cars, small engine repair and continued to cut a few lawns to keep himself busy.

Jerry's passion was the numerous classic hot rods throughout the years, always looking forward to the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Jerry's favorite place to visit was Pigeon Forge for the car shows and the Smokey Mountains. It was also where he and Kathy were married.

Later in life, Jerry looked forward to lunches with Hairball, Corn-ear(also known as Laurabell) and Buttercup. Family get togethers and frequent dinners with the family. Creating memories and new traditions along the way as well as having a half stick of gum or a buck waiting for you.

Proceeded in death by his parents Fred and Ellen. Brother James, Grandson River, Niece Tonya and brother in law Jerry Trent. His Beloved dog KD and first wife, Barbara.

Memorial service is being held at Auburn Hills Christian Center 2592 Walton blvd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 at 11:00 am Tuesday August 26th
