Jesse Walk Obituary
He was born March 8, 1941, in Cedar Bluff, to the late Stuart and Mattie Walk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jessee R. Walk Jr. and several brothers and sisters.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Vera Evelyn Bolling Walk, Norton; a son, Roger Walk and wife Rachel of Bristol Tennessee; daughters, Regina Street and husband Eddie of Rowe, Va., and Karen Meadows and husband Tim of Pounding Mill, Va.; eight grandchildren, Jessica Bostic and husband Hurshel, Renae Walk, Tamara Walk, Leslie Walk, Jessee Walk, Jacob Walk, Taylor Meadows and Torey Walk; three sisters, Margaret Walk, Cedar Bluff, Ira Mitchell and husband James, Richlands and Ann Kinder and husband Frank, Ward, Ark.; two brothers, William Walk, Cedar Bluff, and Ernest Walk and wife Ruby, Cedar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Bolling officiating. Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
