Funeral services for Jewell Marie Bland, 86, of Jeffersonville. will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at her residence.She was retired from Curtis Wright, Goodyear, and an insurance office. She was also a homemaker and a member of Wall Street United Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband, Ralph Bland; daughter, Joan Bland, of Jeffersonville; sister, Jeraldine Newton Eckert, of Taswell and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Millie Madley; brother, Howard Madley and sister, Mildred Ash.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
