Jim ,Carol, and David,
Dave and I learned of your mother's passing when our Christmas card was returned yesterday. We have spent the better part of 30 years visiting her whenever we came to Pittsburgh on our trips from Tx and since our return to Pennsylvania. We always looked forward to visiting with her...she was a special part of our lives and we are so sorry that we did not know sooner. Ironically Dave's mother passed away March 11, 2009 in Texas while Dave and the girls were visiting her on spring break. We are thinking of you. Take care and God Bless. Dear Jim, Carol and David: I am very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember fondly growing up on Upland Street in Homewood, walking to Belmar School and the times spent at your house and mine when we were kids. (Not sure if you'll remember me or not, it's been such a long time since those days.) Our moms were friends and continued to keep in touch after we all moved away from Upland Street. My deepest sympathies for your loss and I will keep you all in my prayers. Feel free to contact me. Mary Ann Merranko (McClain)

Sometimes in life we are fortunate to meet people who bring happiness and joy to you just by being in their company and Jocelyn was one of those people for me. I have known and helped Jocelyn for the past 10 years and it has been an absolute pleasure to have known this sweet and gentle lady. Although her memory will always be alive in my heart, she will be sadly missed by me.
