Suddenly and unexpectedly on the
4th December 2013, aged 26 years.
A very special son of Helen & Ian,
also a much loved grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
The funeral service will take place at Rawdon Crematorium on
Monday 23rd December 2013 at 12.20pm. No flowers by request please however donations may be made at the service in memory of Joe for
The Leeds Area Riding for the Disabled Association. Please wear something bright to reflect Joes love of colours.

Nearly a year
Well son, it's nearly a year without you. Gosh it's been hard. Mum and I have got through it but we miss you so, so much. We will never get over the fact that you were taken away from us without any warning so young. We cherish every moment we had together over 26 years. One day we will be back together, the three of us. I am still so, so proud to be known as Joe's dad. Tammy is fit and well and you now have a memorial cup in your name at Leeds RDA presented to the most improved rider each year. Aren't we proud parents. Your name and memory will live in forever. Love you son, forever and a day. x x x

The First Month
A month has gone by little man and the pain is still there. Me and mum have got through mum's birthday, Christmas and a New Year but boy is it hard. We love and miss you so much and every time I hear a noise in the hall it's you coming out of your bedroom. Love you and miss you forever and a day Mum and Dad xxxxxx

Missing You
Just been out to the regular pub you enjoyed so much going to with us for a meal with Grandpa, Auntie Gillian, Uncle Peter and mum and I. On the way back mum played what I call weirdo music that you and her used to play in the car and I hated but you and mum rocked away to and you loved listening to. Miss you so much little man. What a send off to a very special lad.
To everyone who attended Joe's funeral and celebration of his life to-day, a massive, massive thank you. That applies to each and all, in person at Rawdon, via the webcast or in your thoughts today. Helen and I are so proud of Joe and the fact that so many people honoured him. So far over £1,500 has been raised in his memory for Leeds Area Riding for the Disabled Association, wow, Joe would be well chuffed. Tammy and the other horses will eat top class hay for some time thanks to all of Joe's generous family and friends. Thank you all.
Mum and Dad miss you so much. The next few days, especially, will be hard but we deeply, deeply cherish the time we had together and we have wonderful memories as well as photos and videos. Friends and family will see us through. Mum and Dad will be fine, we have each other.
Joe - You and Jess are now at peace. Until we meet again, see you little man, be safe, be careful and always remember I am so so proud to be known as Joe's dad.

Hello Mr. C
I couldn't have had a more wonderful and special nephew and I'm so glad I've had you in my life for 26 years. I will miss all the fun times we've had together, all the pranks we've played on each other and the nice times we've had with the boys.(Mozra and Tootles send their love). You were always so polite when some of the meals I made didn't quite turn out, but latterly, I'm sure you'll agree, I have improved. You're in a new world now and I'm sure you'll be getting used to it. There will be no more physical discomfort. Please give my love to Mubsie and all the others.
