Joe Veloz Sr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 17, 2023.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joe Luis Veloz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, on December 14, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Joe was born on August 19, 1954 in Monterrey, Mexico. He was the son of the late Lorenzo and Aurora Veloz. He was an accomplished electrician, and was known for his quick wit and humor. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Joe was a devoted family man. He was married to his beloved wife, Vivian, for nearly 50 years. Together they had one son, Joe Veloz Jr., who they were immensely proud of. Joe was also a loving grandfather to Hayley Veloz, and great-grandfather to Jonathan.

In his free time, Joe enjoyed listening to music, helping out people in need, and spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and was always up for a good cheeseburger. Joe was a man who truly lived life to the fullest.

Joe is survived by his siblings, Rudy Veloz Sr., Lorenzo Veloz, Alejandra Perez, Susie Jimenez, Aurora Olivarez, Frances Granado, Maria Barrientos, and also 20 nieces and nephews.

Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will never be forgotten.

May he rest in peace.
