John (Scott) Coleman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 18, 2025.
We were so focused on his big, loving, honorable heart that we never noticed the pancreatic cancer lurking in the shadows.

Scott (Scotty) Coleman's family, friends, and animals meant everything to him. He was a magnificent athlete and always a sportsman. A generous and loyal friend. For him family always came first.

He is survived by his life partner, Annette Page Tybur, brother, Randy, sister-in-law, Anna, brother-in-law, Wayne Page, brother-in-law, William Page, sister-in-law, Lisa Page Brewer. The nieces and great-nieces outnumbered the nephews and great-nephews, but they all had a special place in his heart.

At Scotty's request there will be no services, but those of us that know better will do a celebration of life in a couple of months.

Scotty and I were embraced a life long friendship when we first met at Evergreen Junior High. I could write a book about our adventures over the years. I can truly say I loved Scotty. I was so impressed about his devotion to his parents and especially his sweet mother after his dad passed. Not long ago, maybe 2 years ago suddenly Scotty started talking about his great love and respect for his brother Randy. It was so touching to hear a grown man express in such humble terms how much Randy had done for him and continued to do so. I am and was blessed to have known this wonderful man. I miss you Scotty, I love you. Please wait for me and soon we will continue our mischief. Gary Groendyke

In your life you come across people who truly impact your life.. Scott was one of my very favorite people. I loved spending time with him on a job site or at the ball field. He always made you feel like you were the most important thing.
I will miss the Sunday morning breakfast and then off to the ball field for some hitting practice. He was one of the best all around athlete's I know. I love the way he would instruct you to be better. He always made me a better person and better athlete.
I will miss his funny, witty & sarcastic personally. I will miss our conversations about horses, cars and ball.
You will be missed by many...
Sending my love and prayers to Annett and Scott's family...
