Dear Amy, Ginny, John, and families,
My heartfelt condolences to you all.
Your dad was a special man - and my all-time favorite teacher. Mr. Carpenter made fifth grade at Bay Road School a fabulous year of learning and fun.
Years later, I had the privilege of working for Jack at State Road School (when John was there). Jack was a very supportive principal and, again, created a wonderful working/learning atmosphere. He was a dear person.
Jack frequently talked about his family; he loved you all dearly!
I am so sorry for your loss.

To the Carpenter Family,
Your Dad was one wonderful man. I have always had fond memories of him and the years that I attended State Road School. May he rest in peace!

I first knew Jack through his daughter, Ginny, She played soccer for me at Schroeder HS. As soccer parents both he and his wife were loyal , supportive parents. It wasn't until later that I learned that Jack was an administrator in the Webster School District. We worked together on a number of projects all focused on his love of his students. His reputation was that of a caring, loving and loyal man. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I have so many fond memories of the wonderful State Road days. Your dad was a special educator. I would see him often and he always had a smile and a story to tell. I am away so will not be able to express my condolences. Treasure all the memories and remember how proud your dad was of all of you.
