John Dehner Obituary
John Francis Dehner, 72, of Maiden, N.C., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
He was born June 6, 1949, in Pottsville, to the late Francis John Dehner and to Doris Charlotte Hughes Dehner, of Pottsville.
John was a retired Navy veteran with 20 years of service, serving on the USS La Salle during the Persian Gulf War. He worked as a dispatcher at the Frackville State Police Barracks.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Barbara Lippencott Dehner, of Maiden, N.C.; mother, Doris Charlotte Hughes Dehner, of Pottsville; brother, David Dehner and wife, Barbara, of Auburn; sister, Virginia Marie Ebert and husband, Paul, Pottsville.
