John, even though I haven't seen you in a long time, I will always remember you. You were my cousin and I spent so much time with you in our young days. Grandma taught us about God and started our love with him. Thank you for being the son my dad never had. Hope you are free of pain and are running around with your friends and family in heaven. I'm sure you have a wonderful place in heaven. I love you, Eunice

It is with great saddest I learned of John's passing. John and I grew up together and were best of friends from our pre-teen years throughout high school. Many special times spent growing up and were indeed fortunate to have the upbringing we had from our families. The angels have welcomed you on your final journey.

I will miss the fellowship shared with John, his many stories of his antics driving at the salvage yard and there were some whoppers But especially how he loved his Lord and Savior , I will see you again my Brother when the LORD calls me home !!

What a blessing John Longley was to me! There will be many things that I will remember and cherish about brother Longley, but the greatest thing will be his faithfulness to his Savior, his wife, and his family. No matter what I was going through, John always encouraged me to put a smile on Jesus' face. I will always remember the words, "I pray for you everyday". I believe he did. I can only imagine what John must have been like when he saw Jesus face to face for the first time. I can only imagine what it must have been like to walk (run), with no assistance, and no struggle to the feet of Jesus. It really makes me envious of the brother. I will meet brother Longley again, and for no other reason than we have the same Savior!! His name is Jesus!!!
