John was my best friend, I haven't been to Fla in over 18 years but when I did it was to see John. He stood by me during some real ruff times. I will miss him greatly.
Of course we had some wonderful times.
I am saddened to learn of his death.
I live in California and from time to time I would see a rider truck and even expected him to one day show up outta the blue as he had done in the past as a driver .
He was true blue.
On one of my visits I convinced him to play harmonica on an instrumental I wrote.
He was great.
Sadly now, I named the project Once More Around the Block..
I had hoped at this time, that we could have spent some more time in our retirement years ..
He will remain in my heart.

I can't believe you're gone brother, I just was with you about a week ago, you're one of my best friends, I'll really miss all of the laughs and good times we shared over the years. I'll miss going to the beach with you, you still needed to teach me how to surf too. I'll always cherish our friendship John, I love you buddy.
