John welcomed me into The Yankee Rebels back in 1972 as one of his fellow Contra Base players. I learned a lot from John, especially what dedication means. I think of him often and miss his Drum Corps wit. I will never forget John and always consider him as a friend.

I am filled with sadness in my heart to hear of the passing of John. I marched with him in the Rebels for years & considered him a friend & roll model. I feel so fortunate to have known John & was so happy I got to see him this spring at the Dixie Stinger. He will be deeply missed.

To the family of John Manlove
We are sincerely sorry to hear of the passing of John. We hope you will find peace and strength in your faith, family and friends at this time of loss.
I will always remember John and his view of the world since I first met him when I joined the Yankee-Rebels. His way of enlightment was like no other. We all learn from people ideals that we carry for the reminder of our lives...he had that affect.
GOD BLESS..
Connie & Skee Derr
