I know that these anniversaries are so difficult. I was glad to see the photograph of John come up in my e mail. He appears to have had a very happy life, filled with the love of family. Thinking of all of you. He was a member of my graduating class at Canby High School.

I am an old classmate of John's from Canby, Oregon and am deeply saddened by his tragic passing. Just wanted to his family to know how much his friends in Canby will miss him and how thankful we are to have known him.

John was a classmate of mine. I remember his sandy blonde hair, his quiet nature (in high school), and that he seemed to really enjoy his journalism class...he had some really close friends, and loved hanging with the guys...He was a kind person.

I am so sorry to hear about your husband John. I went to school in Canby with John, but haven't seen him since high school. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Susan, Miranda and family,
We are truly saddened by the terrible news of your loss. John was very sociable and we had many conversations with him in the driveway of our home. He had a wide variety of iterests and was always pleasant to visit with.
We are happy to have known him.
