Dear Pat: Just learned of John's passing in today's newsletter of Golf Writers Association of America. So sorry to hear of his passing. My name is John Zimich and like John was a golf writer from Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Got to meet him at our gatherings at Myrtle Beach with the New England writers. He was such a great guy and fun to be around. Don't know if you remember us but my wife, Irene, and I were invited to Cape Cod to visit with you and John some years ago.It was our first trip to that area and you guys were great hosts. We thank you once again for that memorable trip. Wife still can recall going to Christmas Tree Store with you while we played golf on the Cape. Please accept our sincere sympathies on John's passing. We'll pray for him. God Bless. John and Irene Zimich
