We have always had a high regard for Jack. He was a dedicated basketball coach at St. Gabriel's and a good example to his players. We admired his strong Catholic faith, honesty and general goodness. He will certainly be missed.

John Welding was a fellow Christian and a good friend. I was always glad to talk with him, about many things, including spiritual matters. He was friendly and actively helped others. I will certainly miss him.

My Dear Cousins,
I am so very sorry for your loss, and pray that Our Lord hold you in His comfort now and going forward. What I'll always remember about John is his engaging smile and the quick wink in his eye when he spoke to you. I was so grateful for the work done by him and our Cousin Jim for the 2005 Wilding/Welding family reunion. I have a photo from that day still on my desk. May God bless and keep you always!
