I think about you often. I tell my husband about our silly fights and how sweet you were. I have probably tried to call every six months until I found out what happened. I am so sorry for you and your mom. Pennie, if you read this, I am so sorry...I have pictures of Dominic, if you want them my number is the same or you can find me on facebook under Tessa Jansen.

Though I never knew you Dominic, every minute of every day your still-healthy young heart beats vibrantly within my chest. Because of you my children still have a dad, my wife still has a husband, and I'm still teaching about 140 middle schoolers every day. I know this pales compared to what has been lost, but I thank you from the bottom of our heart. And my family thanks you. God bless.

This goes out to your Mommy! May she feel a peace knowing you are in the Arms of our Loving Lord. May she find strength in knowing that you are proud of Her, and may she draw near to the Heavenly Father for comfort. May she have hope in knowing that she two will someday rest in our Lord's arms. And although you are missed by many honey, we know your Mom misses you most. So my prayer for Pennie is that she not lose sight, and remember that she too will someday put her own loving arms around her son Dominic, as you welcome her home to be with you and all the other believers.

Your Mom and I worked together and became friends. I remember when she told me that you were in boot camp. I saw her joy when she came back from seeing you graduate from boot camp. I also saw her eyes when she knew you were going to Iraq. How proud of you she was. I too, share her pride of you.
You left too soon,her heart is broken. But,we, her friends will try to comfort her as best we can.

Dominic was a proud soldier who was very happy with the choices he made in his life. He was a very kind person, and he loved his family very much.
